I’m Michael Davis, a project and programme management consultant with over a decade of experience leading complex, high-stakes programmes across health, hospitals, and infrastructure.

My work sits at the intersection of two things most organisations struggle to connect: the knowledge held by the people running a programme, and the data their leadership needs to make consequential decisions. I build the frameworks, models, and reporting systems that bridge that gap, turning operational complexity into evidence that endures.

I’m currently leading the transition of equipment and services to the $1.5B New Footscray Hospital at Western Health, where I developed and own the Facility Transition Master Plan, a stakeholder-driven resource and scheduling model spanning 40 services and 47,851 hours of workforce uplift. Before that, I led programme management and improvement for the Department of Health’s COVID-19 testing response, delivering $96 million in budget savings while maintaining statewide surge capacity.

I founded ERS Group after recognising a consistent gap in the market, complex programmes drowning in data but starved of insight. Too often, the knowledge that should be driving decisions sits in the heads of operational teams, unstructured and invisible to the people who need it most. That’s the problem ERS Group exists to solve.

I hold a Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification, a PRINCE2® Practitioner certificate, a Bachelor of Business in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Swinburne University, and I am currently completing a Graduate Certificate in Data Science at RMIT University, deepening the analytical foundations that underpin everything ERS Group delivers. I am also a member of the Australasian College of Health Service Management (ACHSM)
